How God improved my love of my work, and increased the amount of work I received, DURING the Coronavirus . There's often a mistaken belief that God and business don't mix. But once you put your faith in God, He guides ALL  areas your life - and that includes your work.  Even if you find your faith later in life, when you look back over your "non believing" years, you can see how God worked in the background, preparing you for when you did finally believe in Him. I am the perfect example of this. Background If you read my ATHEIST TO FOLLOWING GOD  post, you'll know that I only found my faith in June 2020, however, I had been running my own business since 1996.  Back in 1994 my father died, and he left me just enough money to buy a computer, printer, and word processing software. This I used to set up a part time typing businesses, while I continued to work in factories to earn money.  In September 1996 I started working for myself full time, and over the following

"Does God REALLY think homosexuality is a sin?" This is a question that is asked of those who, like me, have found their faith quite recently, but also those who have followed God for decades, and it does seem a very hard one to answer without having done some research. Now, at first glance it appears like there's no doubt, the Bible has the following sentences: " Do not practice homosexuality, having sex with another man as with a woman. It is a detestable sin. " (Leviticus 18:22 NLT) " Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people—none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God." (1 Corinthians 6:9-10 NLT) " The law is for people who are sexually immoral, or who practice homosexuality, or

Just found your faith? You should read this book... Since finding my faith, there's a book that has helped to guide me in all aspects of my life. And it can do the same for you. What if I was to tell you there is a book that is personalised to you? It can help you on your journey to becoming a "good Christian". It will show you where you have gone wrong in the past, and it will guide you along the right path. But more than that, it will help you in your day-to-day life, whether that be in business, personal, relationships, or whatever.  When you need something this book will always come up with the answer - and you will know it will always be the right  answer (even if it's not the answer you're hoping for). "So, what is this magical book, then?" Quite simply, it is THE BIBLE! It comes under many names: "The Word of God", "The Holy Bible", "The Lord's Scriptures", "The Good Book", but whatever it is called, i

Find Faith, and God becomes YOUR focus! Yes, God IS my focus! But what is that, exactly, and how did it happen? If you read my previous blog post, Atheist to Following God , you'll know that although I didn't believe in God, I tried to have a positive mental attitude, and while that is a good way to live (why would you want to have a negative outlook?), there's no real focus. So, I would go through my day trying to be happy and positive, but there was no hook to hang that on. Yes, I could watch a motivational video, read a positive mental attitude book, and they would improve my mood for a while, but it was a temporary lift, and it didn't last.  And besides, if I had a question, or needed advice, who was there to turn to?  Since finding my faith, however, things have been very different - as God is now my focus . There's often this mistaken belief that God is somewhere "up there", He is an infinite being, with massive concerns on his mind, He's not goi

So, how DOES an Atheist become a Christian? I would love to tell you it was some sudden revelation, a vision, Jesus coming to me in a dream, etc., but unfortunately it's not as "simple", or "quick" as that. My journey was actually a lot slower, based on reading, thinking, talking with others, watching YouTube videos, and coming to the slow realisation that for what I believed in to be true, then the only answer was there has to be a God ! But let's not get ahead of ourselves here... For many decades (I'm 50 years old as I write this), I had been atheist, and a confirmed atheist at that. I definitely did not believe in God or religion, and I had no intention of changing. However, I was respectful of those who did have a faith (for any religion) - I certainly was not a Richard Dawkins or Stephen Fry, berating those who promoted religion. What I did believe, and tried to live my life by was a positive mental attitude . That is by being positive, and doing
